would book again
The family room was really spacious with a comfy bed and a clean private bathroom. Breakfast offered freshly baked croissants and a great selection of organic juices. The indoor swimming pool was well-maintained and so relaxing, and the spa facilities included a jacuzzi and sauna, making it easy to unwind after a long day.

Spacious Deluxe Double Room with comfy beds and a lovely view over the golf course, enhancing the stay. Breakfast offers extensive options, especially the full English, which is promptly cooked and satisfying.
The pool closes at 20:00, leaving little time for enjoyment if you arrive late. There's a lack of comfortable seating in the room, with basic furnishings and dim lighting, making it hard to get ready. Plus, the pool water is quite cold, and the jacuzzi was out of service during my visit. Outside areas, including balconies and courtyards, had poor upkeep with spider webs, giving a neglected vibe that detracts from the otherwise appealing surroundings. Dining at the restaurant felt more like a cafe experience due to the ambiance, which could use improvement.

Couple's Relaxing retreat
The lodge was pretty great, super warm even on the coldest days and so much space around. The pool, sauna, steam room and hot tub, all pleasant to use, never packed in the spa area, which was a relief after long days.
It wasn’t exactly cheap, but still manageable.
